This bike is my Everest. Acquired in 2016 after it had been stood for 5 years, I managed to get it up to a running condition with a new paint job (it’s previous one was dire), and through an MOT, however it was running really rough and needed the carbs dialling in. Many hours had been put in to it at that point when disaster struck – it was stolen from my drive.
A month later it was recovered in a lousy condition. All locks broken and the paintwork destroyed.
It sat for well over a year and half before I ‘upped tools’ once again and started it’s re-restore. This is my current project and I’m planning on restoring it to factory condition, including (very rare) original exhausts which I managed to source for it.
